- 2007 Annual Healthcare Diversity Awards Gala on May 17th, at the United Nations: At our 2007 Annual Healthcare Diversity Awards Gala last week at the UN, attended by a sold-out audience of over 300 Hispanic providers, business leaders and members of the diplomatic community, we had the unique opportunity to recognize our distinguished honorees and hospital middle managers.
- AHHE/NHCCH Grant application to the NYS Health Foundation with Maximus: The Association of Hispanic Healthcare Executives (AHHE) and the National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on Health (NHCCH), in collaboration with Maximus, a national government contractor, based in Virginia with more than 5,200 employees, have submitted a grant proposal to implement an outreach program to target "hard to reach" Hispanic businesses by creating a campaign in New York City to promote public insurance for employees of small Hispanic employers.
